Lok Sabha Election 2024: During a late-night meeting of BJP's top decision-making body chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, leaders discussed the list of Lok Sabha candidates from several states, including Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Assam, Telangana and more, sources told Times Now. The party is expected to announce 25-35 names in the first list today. The BJP is expecting to announce candidates for more than 50 per cent of the Lok Sabha seats ahead of the announcement of the Lok Sabha election - a trend seen during the 2019 election when the BJP had announced 164 candidates on March 21, weeks before the elections were announced.
