Priyanka Gandhi slammed Amit Shah after he made a reference to her Thailand trip in an election meeting

New Delhi: Priyanka Gandhi Vadra took a potshot at Union Home Minister Amit Shah today and asked how he knows about her trip to Thailand. The Congress General Secretary said that she went to Thailand to visit her daughter. Amit Shah had reportedly made a reference of this trip in an election meeting.
Priyanka Gandhi said Amit Shah keeps an eye on everyone's movement, especially on the movement of women.
"Amit Shahji toh bahut jankari rakhte hain, khaskar ke mahilaon ki. Kahan jaa rahi hain, kisse mil rahi hain. Main apni beti se milne gai thi Thailand kuch dinon pehle toh apni chunavi sabha mein keh rahe they. Haan main gayi thi. Magar Amit Shahji ye batayen ki unko yeh jankari kaise mili. Jab woh sari jankari rakhte hain toh jhooth kyon bolte hain (There is not an iota of truth in this. Amit Shah is known for keeping an eye on who does what, when and where, especially women. A few days ago I went to see my daughter in Thailand and he made a reference of this in an election meeting. Yes, I did go to Thailand, but will he tell how he got to know of this. And when he keeps all the information, why does he have to lie?),” she said.
Asked to comment on BJP’s pitch that Congress family visits Amethi and Rae Bareli only during elections, Priyanka said, “Ye bilkul sach nahi hai."
Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is campaigning for Rahul Gandhi in Rae Bareli and Kishori Lal Sharma in Amethi.

Amit Shah Slams Congress

On Sunday, Union home minister Amit Shah launched a blistering attack on the Congress party accusing them of neglecting the two high-profile constituencies after securing victory in previous elections.
"After winning, how many times did Sonia Gandhi and her family come to see you? Sonia Gandhi usually has health issues but what about Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi? There have been several unfortunate incidents in the constituency in the past few years but did the Gandhi family ever turn up?" Shah said at a rally in Raebareli.
Raebareli constituency goes to the polls on May 20 in the fifth phase. The counting of votes will be done on June 4. While Congress has fielded Rahul Gandhi from the UP constituency, BJP has given the ticket to state minister Dinesh Pratap Singh.
Raebareli constituency goes to the polls on May 20. In the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, Congress leader Sonia Gandhi won the constituency, bagging 534,918 votes. Her closest rival, Dinesh Pratap Singh, put up a formidable challenge, gathering 367,740 votes.
Before Sonia, former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi had won Raebareli thrice. The constituency also elected Indira's husband and Congress leader Feroze Gandhi twice, in 1952 and 1957.
