A coaching student on Monday went missing in Kota, Rajasthan. The student, a 16-year-old from Byavra in Madhya Pradesh, was preparing for an engineering entrance exam. He left his hostel for coaching but did not return, prompting his parents to file a missing complaint at Jawahar Nagar Police station.
The last known location of the missing boy was traced to Garadiya Mahadev. In response, the police, along with teams from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), have initiated a search along the Chambal river in the hope of locating the young student.
The sequence of events unfolded when the student left for his test at noon, subsequently texting his parents around 2pm, assuring them of a call at 7pm. However, he switched off his phone after the message. Concerned by the unusual behavior, the parents reached Kota and promptly filed a missing complaint.
City SP Sharad Choudhary revealed that the investigation has unveiled CCTV footage showing the student entering Garadiya Mahadev but not exiting. The mystery surrounding his disappearance has prompted intensified efforts from law enforcement and rescue teams in scouring the Chambal river area.
As the search operation unfolds, local authorities are urging anyone with information about the missing student's whereabouts to come forward, emphasizing the urgency of locating him swiftly. The situation is currently under investigation, and updates will be provided as the story develops.
