Amaranth Upma
Ingredients
- ? cup amaranth
- ? cup finely chopped onion
- 1 ? cup water
- 1/2 cup peas
- 1/2 cup finely chopped carrot
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp cashews
- 1 tbsp peanuts
- 2 tsp urad dal
- 2 tsp chana dal
- ? tsp finely chopped ginger
- ? tsp mustard seeds
- 1 dried whole red chilli
- 1 finely chopped green chilli
- Salt to taste
- Ghee as required
Method
Step 1: In a pan, start by lightly roasting amaranth. Transfer it to a bowl and keep it aside. In the same pan, add oil, peanuts and cashews. Fry until golden and aromatic. Keep them aside.Trending:
