Areas Arizona Cardinals Could Strenghten During 2024 NFL Draft

In 2023, the Arizona Cardinals had a forgettable season. The Cardinals finished the season with the fourth-worst record in the league despite dealing with a number of injuries. However, they did get to choose the NFL Draft's fourth overall pick. The wide receiver, defensive line, and cornerback positions are the three main positional gaps that the Arizona Cardinals need to fill before the draft.

How the Cardinals might strengthen their squad in the forthcoming Draft will be addressed in this article.

Defense

The majority of divisional opponents of the Cardinals enjoy running the ball. Their deficiency in defensive line talent could therefore cause problems in 2024. The Cardinals need to choose one (or two) excellent DLs in the 2017 Draft because of this.
Though there are a few good defensive linebackers in the 2018 Draft, Keith Randolph Jr. is the one we can't stop staring at. The Illinois player was outstanding during his time in college and might make Justin Jones a valuable benchwarmer.
Next season, the Cardinals will play the Los Angeles Rams, the Seattle Seahawks, and the San Francisco 49ers. And to lessen the threat, such run-heavy attacks require excellent defensive ends.

Cornerback

In 2023, opponents often scorched the secondary of the Arizona Cardinals. The club was unable to find a break, and during the regular season, it was clear that they lacked a suitable number-one wide receiver. Ahead of a fresh start in Arizona, the Cardinals will have a great opportunity to take care of one of their most pressing requirements in the 2024 NFL Draft.
T.J. Tampa of Lowa State might be the ideal choice for Arizona. The lockdown CB is physically strong and with excellent ball skills.
Tampa has recorded 19 interceptions of passes in the last three years, and his deflection skills should be advantageous in the NFL. In the NFC West, Tampa Bay and the newly acquired Sean Murphy-Bunting combination might cause trouble.

Wide Receiver

There's no denying that the Cardinals will use the fourth overall pick to choose a top-tier wide receiver. The only thing left to decide is between Rome Odunze, Malik Nabers, and Marvin Harrison Jr.
Since the Cardinals will most likely choose Kyler Murray's offensive running partner for the next ten years, they must make the perfect selection. It will take a lot of work to see how the franchise bottles such a premium opportunity, but Arizona needs a new WRI.
