The NBA draft has generated a lot of interest already. Bronny James, son of LeBron James enlisted his name for the NBA draft and he will be the one to watch out for.
Since Bronny made himself available for the NBA draft, speculations have been pretty rife over his selection in the upcoming NBA season. As per reports, the Utah Jazz might be interested in selecting Bronny with the 32nd pick in the draft.
As per Yahoo Sports, there is a strong buzz that Utah might take up their chance to grab the USC guard. They are setting up the paces behind the scenes under the guidance of Danny Ainge, CEO of Utah Jazz and as per their current policy, they only bring in players with the capacity to improve their roster in the coming times.
Bronny’s college career stats read 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per match but there could be a huge gamble as Utah might be ready to lure LeBron James by getting Brony under their fold.
LeBron already spoke of his intentions to play with his son before his retirement and with his future still unclear there could be various twists and turns. Utah already invited Brony for an individual workout ahead of the NBA draft and they happen to be one of the competitors of Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference.
Bronny insisted that if he gets selected in the NBA draft it would be for his talent not his association with his father. "Honestly, I feel like this is a serious matter.
"I don't think anyone thinks, 'I'm going to pick this guy just to appeal to his dad.' I don't think a general manager would allow that. I think I have worked hard and if they choose me it will be because of the player and the person I am."
LeBron does have a player option to extend his LA Lakers contract which is worth a whopping $51.4 million but it remains to be seen how things unfold in the near future.
