2016 champions Sunrisers Hyderabad will face Delhi Capitals in match No. 35 of IPL 2024 on Saturday (April 20), which is scheduled to take place at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. In the first match of IPL 2024 in Delhi, DC would like to maintain the winning run and complete a hat-trick of wins. The Delhi Capitals are coming into Saturday’s match after getting the better of the Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans in the last two matches. As of now, the Rishabh Pant-led side is in sixth place in the IPL 2024 points table, and a big win over SRH can take them to as high as No. 2 position.
On the other hand, Pat Cummins-led SRH is in 4th place, and a win by any margin on Saturday will help them leapfrog KKR and CSK and move to second place. The Men in Orange have won their last three matches against CSK, PBKS, and RCB.
In the last match played against RCB, SRH batters posted a total of 287 runs on the board for the loss of three wickets, which is a new record for the highest score in IPL history.

DC vs SRH pitch report

The match between Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad will be played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, which is set to host its first match of this year’s IPL on Saturday (April 20). But looking at the history of matches played at this iconic stadium and the shorter boundaries, one can expect a high-scoring match.

DC vs SRH weather report

According to the AccuWeather forecast, the temperature in Delhi on Saturday (April 20) is expected to remain in the range of 30 to 34 degrees Celsius during the match, which is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m. IST.

Players to watch out for

Delhi Capitals: Australian batter Jake Fraser-McGurk has impressed with his batting in the last couple of matches for DC, and he will be a key player for the Rishabh Pant-led side against Pat Cummins & Co. With doubts over David Warner’s availability, the 22-year-old right-handed batter, who scored a half-century on his IPL debut, is all set to open the innings once again with Prithvi Shaw.
Sunrisers Hyderabad: Star opening batter Travis Head scored 102 runs from 41 balls in the last match for SRH against RCB, and in Delhi once again, he will look to come up with a big score and help his side secure a full two points. Apart from him, all eyes will also be on South African wicketkeeper-batter Heinrich Klaasen, who has already scored three fifties in six matches played so far this year.

Who will win the KKR-RR match?

Looking at the current form of both teams, it will be difficult to predict the winner of today’s match between DC and SRH, but going by the overall strengths and quality of players, we can expect SRH to end Delhi’s winning run of two matches and add two points to their tally.
