India are all set to take on England in the fifth Test of the series at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium at Dharamsala. Rohit Sharma and team have already won the series with a match in hand having taken an unassailable 3-1 lead. One of the major performers for India in the series has been none other than Yashasvi Jaiswal, who has seen an incredible run of form opening the batting alongside the captain. He broke and created multiple records in the series and will look to get past another record that is currently held by the head coach of the opposite side, Brendon McCullum.

Yashasvi Jaiswal has scored 655 runs in this series, and has thus equalled the record for the most runs by an India batter in a Test Series against England. In fact, if he manages to score 45 more runs, he will become the second batter from India to score 700 runs in a bilateral Test Series after Sunil Gavaskar.
Earlier in the series, Jaiswal also became only the third batter from India to score back-to-back double centuries after Vinod Kambli and Virat Kohli. In fact, he also equalled Wasim Akram's record of most sixes in a Test innings (12) during his double century in the third Test at Rajkot.
