Arshdeep Singh, known for his pace and swing bowling, has emerged as a crucial member of the Indian bowling attack. His final over against Pakistan helped India win the match. However, his father's words serve as a reminder of the immense support system that the young players have behind them.

The T20 World Cup match between India and Pakistan was a high-pressure affair, but for young Indian fast bowler Arshdeep Singh, the stakes were even higher.
The 25-year-old pacer's entire family attended the match against Pakistan at the Nassau International County Stadium in New York on Sunday. In a heartwarming display of national pride, Arshdeep's father, Darshan Singh, shared some emotional words before the big clash.
IPL franchise Punjab Kings' official social media handle released a video of Arshdeep's father speaking about the match.
When asked how he copes with supporting his son and India, Darshan claimed that it does become difficult at times, but India comes first. This suggests that he wants the Men in Blue to win, regardless of his son's performance.
With a resolute tone, he declared, "India Pehle, Beta Baadmein" (India First, Son Later)
Meanwhile, Arshdeep Singh has become embroiled in a controversy after former Pakistan cricketer Kamran Akmal made a racist joke about the India bowler. The video of the joke went viral on social media. Akmal later apologised for the crude joke he made about Arshdeep.
Akmal's remarks when the left-arm seamer was bowling the last over in their chase of 120 against India. Arshdeep bowled brilliantly and won the match for India by six runs over the arch-rivals.
“Kuch bhi ho sakta hai… Dekhe last over karna Arshdeep Singh ne hai. Waise uska rhythm nahi laga. 12 baj gaye hai (Anything can happen. The last over will be bowled by Arshdeep Singh; he hasn't looked in a great rhythm. And It is already 12)," Akmal had said while analysing the match on ARY News.
However, Akmal's comments did not go well with Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh, who lashed out at the former wicketkeeper.
"…You should know the history of Sikhs before u open ur filthy mouth. We Sikhs saved ur mothers and sisters when they were abducted by invaders, the time invariably was 12 o'clock. Shame on you guys.. Have some Gratitude," Harbhajan wrote.
